The Yellow Spring

I have photographed and painted in the lovely Glen Helen Nature Preserve for years. Here is an image I made awhile back of the Yellow Spring in Glen Helen, the namesake of the village of Yellow Springs, Ohio. I like it so much that I've made many versions and have found many uses for it as well. I am using it as a sort of logo for my new business - Springs Gallery. SOLD - Carolina Pine Vista

Here's another 8" x 10" oil on canvas (wired and ready to hang) that I did during my residency at Poinsett Park in South Carolina. I have a few others from my stay down there that I still need to work on, but this one feels done. I made it in one sitting (actually standing) up in the mountain foothills. It was a breathtaking vista that I returned to many times, just to enjoy.
