C KLINGER STUDIO
This site features some of the art and activities of Christine Klinger. I'll leave it up for now as it has some pieces for sale. Feel free to look around and make a purchase if you're so inclined. We're going through some changes so please bear with us. Life will be better post-COVID. To stay tuned to what we're up to out here - feel free to visit our newest site: THE STUDIO in the "Links I Like") area. Thanks!

New Phases
This piece is brand new. It's a little 7" x 5" ink on yupo I'm calling "Mystery Garden." I'm not posting a paypal button, but if you're interested - drop me an email - seen on this site or via the web site. I can either mat and frame it 8 x 10, without glass ($75), or mount it on an unframed 5 x 7 canvas ($65). Either way it would be wired and ready to hang.
This piece shows one of a couple of new challenges I've been giving myself lately; I'm having fun. I'm also posting now just to get this blog up and running a bit, for awhile. There are a lot of my older paintings on here - with paypal buttons. Just want folks to know I'm still at it. I also have 2 other blogs I post on from time to time: klingerstudios.blogspot.com and thestudio-ys.blogspot.com - links on the right, as well as our web site: klingerart.com. Enjoy!

Sculpture Class at JBCP
(Note: Well, the course didn't go this time; maybe another time.)
I'd planned to teach a clay sculpture class at John Bryan Community Pottery in Yellow Springs in April. I know most folks think of me as a painter, but I sculpted and taught in clay for many years before I dove into the paint. (Some people still think of me as a photographer - which is fine since I still do that too). Follow your bliss.
The piece above is titled "A Hard Reign." It's one of mine that was in the Yellow Springs Arts Council's Members Show, "Art for Change" until 3/10/13.

Wading in the Wings
Pardon the pun but I just couldn't resist. This is the seventh, and last (so far) painting in my Under Sea Circus series. Like the others, it is a 12" x 16" acrylic on canvas, with black painted edges, wired and ready to hang. And it is titled, "Wading in the Wings." This piece, and several other acrylic paintings of mine, are currently available to see and purchase at Neil's Heritage House in Dayton, OH. Enjoy!

Circus Moon
Here are a couple of the circus performers taking a break. It is also a 16" x 12" acrylic on canvas, wired and ready to hang. I call it "Circus Moon." Enjoy!

Clown Fish
This is another in my "Under Sea Circus Series." It's titled "Clown Fish," for obvious reasons, perhaps. It's an apropos post today because - although my earthlink web site - klingerart.com - is FINALLY up and running, the joke is on me because I still cannot edit it yet. I guess they'll tell me when I'm "allowed" to edit the site I built. Sigh.
Anyway, this little guy can cheer anybody up. Like his companions, he's a 16" x 12" acrylic on canvas, wired and ready to hang. Enjoy!

Bareback Rider
Here's my under Sea version of a bareback rider, complete with seahorses - what else? Like the others in its series - it is 12" x 16" with black-painted edges. It is wired and ready to hang. Enjoy!

More from the Undersea Circus!
I'll be posting the rest of this series here (2 posted previously) because my web site is still messed up (over a month now). Sorry. Anyway, here is my 12" x 16" version of a "Circus Train," hence the title. It's got black-painted edges and is wired and ready to hang. Enjoy!
